I'm out of spoons
The Spoon Theory is an incredibly appropriate theory to describe how I'm feeling these days.
With everything on my plate one of the things I sacrifice is eating decent meals. I know *in theory* that what you eat affects your mood. Putting it in practice is a whole different story. I'm not very good at the follow through it takes to actually get to results. When I do get results, I don't have a baseline to compare it to and fall back into my old ways very quickly.
I've started this blog to measure how what I eat affects my moods. It's also going to keep me accountable to someone, even if it's just myself. If you had to write down every time you snuck a handful of jelly beans you'd stop and question if it was worth it too... wouldn't you?
I'm going to get my husband involved in this too. We both need to be eating healthier, and we both need to see how that effects our moods so we can stop eating our emotions.
